Ingredients
  1. Filling
  2. Canned sweet potatoes, drained 2 cans
  3. (whole sweet potatoes) ( 24 medium )
  4. sugar, granulated 8 cups
  5. salt 1 Tbsp, 1 tsp
  6. Eggs, fresh 16 each
  7. Butter or margarine, melted 1 lb
  8. Milk, fresh 2 cups
  9. Vanilla 3 Tbsp
  10. Topping
  11. Brown sugar 8 cups
  12. Flour, AP 3 cup
  13. Butter or margarine, melted 1-1/2 cup
  14. Pecans, chopped 4 cups
Instructions
  1. Mix all filling ingredients well and place in 2 greased baking dishes.
  2. For topping, mix sugar flour and pecans. add butter. spread over sweet potato mixture.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes, or until center is firm.
Notes
  1. Don't over cook, the center should be just getting firm when you pull it out.
