Ingredients
- GROUND BEEF 15 LBS
- BREAD CRUMBS, DRY 2 LBS
- or
- WHITE BREAD, FRESH, BROKEN 1 LOAF
- MILK, FRESH 2-1/2 CUPS
- OATMEAL 1 LB
- SALT 4-1/2 TBSP.
- BLACK PEPPER 1-1/2 TSP
- GARLIC, GRANULATED 1- 1/2 TSP
- ONIONS, YELLOW, COOKED 1-1/2 CUPS
- EGGS FRESH, SLIGHTLY BEATEN 12 EACH
Instructions
- COMBINE BEEF WITH BREAD CRUMBS, SALT, PEPPER, AND GARLIC.
- Note: if using fresh bread and milk, break the bread into small pieces, pour milk over bread. Mash fine like baby food.
- ADD ONIONS AND EGGS, MIX UNTIL INCORPORATED, DO NOT OVER MIX.
- DIVIDE INTO 3 EVEN LOAVES.
- BAKE AT 325 FOR 90 MINUTES OR UNTIL DONE.
- LET STAND 20 MINUTES BEFORE SLICING. SLICE INTO 14-15 SLICES EACH.
Notes
- YOU CAN PLACE 50/50 KETCHUP/BROWN SUGAR MIXTURE ON TOP, THE LAST 15 MINUTES. ALSO ADDING GRATED CHEESE THE LAST 15 MINUTES IS ALWAYS GREAT.
