Mac & Cheese
Serves 40
Raise your hand if you don't like mac & cheese, That's what I thought!
  1. Macaroni noodles 3 lbs
  2. Water, boiling 5 qts
  3. Salt 3 tsp
  4. Vegetable oil (optional) 1 tbsp
  5. Butter 3/4 cup
  6. Flour, A.P. 3/4 cup
  7. Salt 1 Tbsp
  8. Pepper black 3/4 tsp
  9. Dry mustard 1/2 tsp
  10. Worcestershire sauce 1 Tbsp
  11. Milk 3 quarts
  12. Cheese, extra sharp, shredded, cheddar 3 lbs
  1. Add salt, oil and noodles to boiling water. Cook for about 15 minutes or until tender.
  2. Over medium heat, melt butter in a 2 qt sauce pan. Add flour, salt, pepper and dry mustard to melted butter, stirring well, cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add milk and Worcestershire to the flour-butter mixture slowly, stirring constantly with a wire whip. Cook until thick.
  4. Add cheese to sauce, saving out a 3 cups. Stir until cheese melts. Add the drained macaroni noodles and mix carefully. Preheat oven to 350  F
  5. Place in 4 inch full pan or an aluminum full size pan, sprinkle the cheese over top, bake for 15-20 minutes or until slightly brown on top
