Ingredients
- WATER AND APPLE JUICE FROM CAN 4 CUPS
- SUGAR, GRANULATED 4 CUPS
- CINNAMON 1 TBSP
- SALT 1 TSP
- LEMON JUICE 1/2 CUP
- # 10 CANNED APPLES, WHITE HOUSE BRAND 1 CAN
- WATER, COLD 1 CUP
- CORNSTARCH 1 CUP
- CRISP TOPPING
- BROWN SUGAR 1 LB 10 0Z
- WHITE OR YELLOW CAKE MIX, DRY 1 BOX
- BUTTER, MELTED 8 OZ
- OATMEAL 14 OZ
Instructions
- PLACE WATER, JUICES , SUGAR AND SALT INTO A SAUCE PAN; BRING TO A BOIL.
- COMBINE WATER AND CORNSTARCH; ADD TO THE BOILED LIQUID. COOK FOR 2-3 MINUTES. . POUR SYRUP OVER THE APPLES, MIX WELL.
- . COMBINE BROWN SUGAR, CAKE MIX, BUTTER, AND OATMEAL; BLEND TO FORM A CRUMBLY MIXTURE. SPRINKLE EVENLY OVER EACH PAN ( REMEMBER YOU HAVE ONE WHOLE PAN & ONE ½ PAN)
- BAKE 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL TOP IS BUBBLING AND LIGHT BROWN.
