Ingredients
  1. WATER AND APPLE JUICE FROM CAN 4 CUPS
  2. SUGAR, GRANULATED 4 CUPS
  3. CINNAMON 1 TBSP
  4. SALT 1 TSP
  5. LEMON JUICE 1/2 CUP
  6. # 10 CANNED APPLES, WHITE HOUSE BRAND 1 CAN
  7. WATER, COLD 1 CUP
  8. CORNSTARCH 1 CUP
  9. CRISP TOPPING
  10. BROWN SUGAR 1 LB 10 0Z
  11. WHITE OR YELLOW CAKE MIX, DRY 1 BOX
  12. BUTTER, MELTED 8 OZ
  13. OATMEAL 14 OZ
Instructions
  1. PLACE WATER, JUICES , SUGAR AND SALT INTO A SAUCE PAN; BRING TO A BOIL.
  2. COMBINE WATER AND CORNSTARCH; ADD TO THE BOILED LIQUID. COOK FOR 2-3 MINUTES. . POUR SYRUP OVER THE APPLES, MIX WELL.
  3. . COMBINE BROWN SUGAR, CAKE MIX, BUTTER, AND OATMEAL; BLEND TO FORM A CRUMBLY MIXTURE. SPRINKLE EVENLY OVER EACH PAN ( REMEMBER YOU HAVE ONE WHOLE PAN & ONE ½ PAN)
  4. BAKE 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL TOP IS BUBBLING AND LIGHT BROWN.
