World's Best Chocolate Cake
I found this recipe on the net, world's best, I'm not arguing!
- 2 each eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1-1/4 cups vegetable oil
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 cup hot water
- Put all ingredients except hot water in large bowl. Add hot water. Beat well.
- (Batter will be thin.) Bake in bunt pan or 10" tube pan at 300 degrees until toothpick comes out clean (about 1 hour).
- Frost, drizzle with glaze, or serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
- This cake is very moist and delicious!
