Preacher Cake
This was a Facebook share; give it a try (This recipe was given to me by someone in Central Illinois. It could be made in a hurry when the housewife learned at the last minute that the preacher was coming to visit.)

Ingredients
  1. 2 cups SUGAR
  2. 2 cups Unsifted Flour
  3. 2 tsp BAKING SODA
  4. 2 tsp VANILLA
  5. 2 EGGS
  6. 1/2 cup CHOPPED NUTS
  7. 1 can (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
  8. 1 8 oz CREAM CHEESE
  9. 1/2 Stick BUTTER
  10. 1-3/42 cup POWDERED SUGAR
  11. 2 tsp VANILLA
  12. 1/4 tsp SALT
Instructions
  1. Mix all together in a 9×13 pan. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 30-45 minutes. Frost if desired.
  2. Mix together cream cheese and butter. Beat in sugar, salt and vanilla. Ice cooled cake. This is an extremely moist and very delicious cake. Enjoy!
