Butter Cream Icing ( decorators icing)

Ingredients
  1. POWDERED SUGAR 1 LB
  2. SHORTENING 3/4 CUP
  3. FLOUR 1/4 CUP
  4. HOT WATER 1/4 CUP
  5. SALT PINCH
  6. VANILLA (OPTIONAL) 1 TSP
Instructions
  1. Cream all ingredients together, whip on high speed 5 minutes.
Notes
  1. Adding of vanilla will take away from the snow white color when using for wedding cakes.
  2. Icing will hold for weeks unrefrigerated, if placed in an air tight container.
