Brown Sugar Pound Cake
Who doesn't like a pound cake and brown sugar to boot!

Ingredients
  1. Butter, softened 1-1/2 cups
  2. Brown sugar, light 1 lb
  3. Granulated sugar 1/2 cup
  4. Eggs, fresh, separated 5 each
  5. Flour A.P. 3 cups
  6. Baking powder 1/2 tsp.
  7. Milk, fresh 1 cup
  8. Salt 1/2 tsp
  9. Vanilla 1 tsp.
  10. Pecans, chopped 1 cup
Instructions
  1. Cream butter and sugars. Add egg yolks, one at a time. Add flour, baking powder and salt alternately with milk. Beat 2 minutes.
  2. Beat eggs whites until stiff but not dry. Fold whites into cake mixture with pecans and vanilla.
  3. Pour into well greased Bundt pan and bake 1-1/2 hours.
  4. Let cool, 20-25 minutes; before turning out.
