Steamed Broccoli
This is a great way to prepare and eat broccoli, while keeping the maximum nutritional flavor and color.
  1. Broccoli, fresh, florets 2 cup
  2. Butter 1 Tbsp.
  3. Salt & Pepper To Taste
  1. Wash broccoli florets, rinse extra water but keep broccoli wet. Place in a microwavable bowl, place butter, salt & pepper over broccoli, wrap tightly with clear wrap. Place in the microwave for 143 seconds. Serve immediately.
  1. The small amount of water creates the steam. The broccoli stays bright green and ‘al dente’. If making a larger batch, increase your time a little.
