Southern style grits
Serves 4
I love grits next to my eggs and bacon!

Ingredients
  1. Water, boiling 2 cups
  2. Salt & pepper 2 pinches each
  3. Grits, quick 1/2 cup
Instructions
  1. Add salt, pepper and grits to boiling water, stir constantly until well dissolved., reduce heat, cover, stir occasionally until thick, 4 - 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
Notes
  1. like to replace 1/2 cup of water with milk, makes the grits a little creamer.
