Simple Syrup
Yields 1
Can be used for many bakery needs!
  1. 1 cup water
  2. 1 cup granulated sugar
  1. Place the sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar.
  3. Simmer for 3 minutes, without stirring. Remove from the heat, and cool to room temperature.
  4. Store airtight in the refrigerator indefinitely.
  5. Can be blended with syrups & used as a glaze on pound cakes.
