Peanut Butter Bars
You will eat a half dozen of these brownies before you know it!

Ingredients
  1. Butter, softened 1/2 cup
  2. Sugar 1/2 cup
  3. Brown sugar, packed 3/4 cup
  4. Eggs 1 ea
  5. Vanilla 1/2 tsp
  6. Peanut butter 1/3 cup
  7. Flour, A.P. 1 cup
  8. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  9. Salt 1/4 tsp
  10. Quick oats 1 cup
  11. Chopped peanuts 1/4 cup
  12. Frosting
  13. Powdered sugar 3/4 cup
  14. Milk 1/3 cup
  15. Peanut butter 1/4 cup
  16. Vanilla 1/4 tsp
  17. Salt 1/4 tsp
Instructions
  1. Mix butter, sugars, egg, vanilla and peanut butter until smooth.
  2. Mix flour, baking soda and salt. Add to peanut butter mixture.
  3. Add oats and stir until moistened. Spread on greased 8"x 8" glass dish. Bake at 375°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Ice while still hot.
  4. Blend icing ingredients together in mixing bowl until creamy and smooth. Spread icing over top of baked cookie dough, while cookie dough is still hot. Icing will harden.
