If you have never made homemade mayonnaise you have to give it a try!
  1. Egg yolks 2 each
  2. Salt 1/2 tsp
  3. Paprika 1/8 tsp
  4. Dry Mustard 1/2 tsp
  5. Vinegar, cider 1 tsp
  6. Salad oil 1-1/2 cups
  7. Vinegar, cider 1-1/2 tsp
  1. Place egg yolks, salt, paprika and dry mustard in mixer. Using the whipping attachment, mix thoroughly.
  2. Add vinegar and blend.
  3. Add oil very slowly, beating steadily on high speed until an emulsion is formed. Oil may then be added, 1/4 cup at a time. Stop at 1 cup and add vinegar. Continue with salad oil until all is added. Beat for 1-2 minutes or until well blended.
