Macaroni & Cheese (using "Rub It On" dry rub)
Rub it on gives it a unique flavor, that I believe you are going to like!
  1. Macaroni noodles 8 oz
  2. Water, boiling 2 qts
  3. Salt 3/4 tsp.
  4. Vegetable oil (optional) 1 tbsp
  5. Butter 1-1/2 Tbsp.
  6. Flour, A.P. 1-1/2 Tbsp
  7. Salt 1/2 tsp.
  8. Pepper black 1/8 tsp.
  9. "Rub it on" dry rub 1/2 tsp.
  10. Milk 2 cups
  11. Cheese, extra sharp, shredded, cheddar 12 oz
  12. "Rub it on" dry rub 1/2 tsp.
  1. Add salt, oil and noodles to boiling water. Cook for about 15 minutes or until tender.
  2. Over medium heat, melt butter in a 2 qt sauce pan. Add flour, salt, pepper and dry mustard to melted butter, stirring well, cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add milk to the flour-butter mixture slowly, stirring constantly with a wire whip. Cook until thick.
  4. Add cheese to sauce, saving out a 1 cup. Stir until cheese melts. Add the drained macaroni noodles and mix carefully. Preheat oven to 350 ° F
  5. Mix 1 tsp. of "Rub it on" dry rub to the 1 cup of cheese, toss well.
  6. Place in 9 x 9 baking dish, sprinkle the ½ cup cheese over top, bake for 15-20 minutes or until slightly brown on top
