Grandma's Chocolate Cake
This recipe was used by my wife's grandmother for several years.
  1. Sugar 2 cups
  2. Cocoa 1/2 cup
  3. Evaporated Milk 1/2 cup, 2 Tbsp.
  4. Butter 2 Tbsp.
  5. Eggs 2 ea
  6. Vanilla 2 Tsp.
  1. Combine all ingredients. Slowly bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  2. Cook until the icing thickens.
  3. Pour over the cake while hot.
  1. Bake a yellow cake mix, (via the instruction) in 3 - 9 inch round pans. Let the cakes cool,. Slice each cake in half horizontally .
  2. Ice between each layer, on top and sides.
