Duck Sauce
A sweet sauce with a small bite of heat!

Ingredients
  1. Butter 1/4 cup (1/2 stick)
  2. Celery, fine diced 1/4 cup
  3. Onions, fine diced 1/4 cup
  4. Crushed red pepper 1/2 tsp
  5. Salt 1/4 tsp
  6. Sugar, granulated 1 cups
  7. Vinegar, white 2 Tbsp
  8. Pineapple juice 1/2 cups
  9. Ketchup 2 Tbsp
  10. Pineapple juice 1/2 cup
  11. Cornstarch 2-1/2 Tbsp
Instructions
  1. Saute onions and celery in butter until translucent.
  2. Add to vegetables, boil, reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Dissolve cornstarch into the pineapple juice. Stir into hot liquid. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Notes
  1. Note: Will hold in the refrigerator for 3-4 weeks.
