Ingredients
- Flour A.P. sifted 1 cup
- Cornmeal, yellow 1-1/2 cups
- Baking soda 1 tsp.
- Baking powder 1 tsp.
- Salt 2 tsp.
- Shortening 1/4 cup
- Eggs 2 each
- Sour milk or milk & 2 tbsp vinegar 2 cups
Instructions
- Sift dry ingredients together, cut in shortening until mixture is course like meal. Combine eggs and milk; stir into flour/cornmeal mixture. Bake 20-25 minutes in greased muffin pans at 425°F.
