Corn Fritter
What a great product to make, using a Jesse Quick Drop Hush Puppy Dispenser!
  1. Self-rising corn meal mix 1-1/4 cup
  2. AP Flour 1-1/4 cup
  3. Sugar 1/3 cup
  4. Salt 1 tsp
  5. Cayenne pepper ½ tsp
  6. Eggs, beaten 2 each
  7. Milk, fresh ¾ cup
  8. Butter, melted ¼ cup
  9. Corn, frozen, thawed 1 cup
  1. Combine cornmeal, flour sugar, cayenne pepper and salt.
  2. Combine milk and beaten eggs. Add to dry mix.
  3. Add corn and butter, mix well. Let stand 10 minutes, stir again and fry.
  4. Heat oil to 375°F. Drop fritters with “A Jesse Quick Drop Hushpuppy dispenser” or with a tablespoon. Fry to a golden brown, 3-4 minutes.
  1. Can be sprinkled lightly with a Cajun seasoning, salt or with powdered sugar.
