Chili w/ Ground Beef

Ingredients
  1. Ground beef 1 lb
  2. Onion, diced 1 small
  3. Chili powder 1/4 cup
  4. Cumin, ground 1 tsp
  5. Black pepper 1 tsp
  6. Salt 1 tsp
  7. Garlic, granulated 1 tsp
  8. Crushed tomatoes 1-26 oz can
  9. Water 2 cups
  10. Pinto beans, drained, rinsed 2- 12-14 oz cans
Instructions
  1. Brown off beef, drain all fat.
  2. Add the onions and spices to the beef , cook over medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add tomatoes, beans and water to beef. Stir well.
  4. Let cook on medium-low heat for 30 minutes to 3 hours.
Notes
  1. Can be prepared in the crook pot, several hour ahead, add 1 extra cup of water . Holds well in refrigerator or freezer. Kidney beans, black beans, white beans can be mixed or substituted for pinto beans.
