Chili w/ Ground Beef

No better meal than a good bowl of chili!

Ingredients
  1. Ground beef 1 lb
  2. Onion, diced 1 Medium
  3. Chili powder 1/4 cup
  4. Cumin, ground 1 tsp.
  5. Black pepper 1 tsp.
  6. Salt 1 tsp.
  7. fennel, ground 1/4 tsp.
  8. Garlic, granulated 1 tsp.
  9. Crushed tomatoes 1 -26 oz can
  10. Water 2 cups
  11. Pinto beans, drained, rinsed 2 - 12-14 oz cans
Instructions
  1. Brown off beef, drain all fat.
  2. Add the onions and spices to the beef, cook over medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Add tomatoes, beans and water to beef. Stir well.
  4. Let cook on medium-low heat for 30 minutes to 3 hours.
Notes
  1. Can be prepared in the crook pot, several hours ahead, add 1 extra cup of water. Holds well in refrigerator or freezer.
  2. Kidney beans, black beans, white beans can be mixed or substituted for pinto beans.
