Beef Stir Fry

You can follow this recipe to the letter or you can add different ingredient to change it up. The sky is the limit when adding things to a stir fry. If you don’t like peppers, leave them out, if you done like onions, find a another dish to make.

Ingredients
- Beef Strips for stir frying 1/4 inch x 1 inch wide 1 lb
- (Can purchase from store or cut top sirloin/top round steak)
- Olive oil or vegetable oil 2 Tbsp
- Soy sauce (kikkomans) 1 tsp
- Pepper and garlic As needed
- Olive oil or vegetable oil 2 Tbsp
- Onions, julienne 1 medium
- Bell pepper, julienne(Green, yellow or red) 1 medium
- Broccoli, florets 2 cups
- Carrots, julienne 1/2 cup
- Soy sauce (kikkomans) 3 tbsp
- Ginger, fresh chopped or, dry ground 1/4 tsp
- Garlic, fresh chopped or dry granulated 1/4 tsp
Instructions
- In a HOT skillet or wok place oil in pan. Once oil is hot add meat stir fry , add soy sauce and seasoning as desired. This process should be only about 2 minutes or less. Remove meat from pan.
- In same skillet or wok, rinse and preheat skillet. Add oil, when oil is hot, add vegetables stirring constantly 1-1/2 - 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients, stirring constantly. Place beef in skillet, stir for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Serve over rice or chow mien noodles.
Notes
- Note: A little trick, sprinkle, 2 pinches of cornstarch to the vegetables at the beginning of cooking (Singer) to achieve a shine and thicker sauce.
