Sloppy Joe's
Nothing is as good as well made "Joe"
  1. Ground beef 85/ 15 or better 1 lb
  2. Ketchup 1/2 cup
  3. Vinegar, apple cider 2 Tbsp.
  4. Brown sugar 1/2 tsp
  5. Mustard, yellow 2 Tbsp.
  6. Salt 2 pinches
  7. Onion, Fine diced 1 small
  8. Water 2 Tbsp.
  1. Cook ground beef in its own fat until beef loses it’s pink color, stirring to break apart. Drain or skin off excess fat.
  2. Combine onions, ketchup, mustard, salt, brown sugar, vinegar and water: add to beef; stir to mix well.
  3. Cover; simmer 15 minutes; stir occasionally to prevent burning.
  1. This recipe freezes well.
