Honey Bran Granola
Homemade granola is more work but is worth it!

Ingredients
  1. Old-fashioned oatmeal 3 cups
  2. Bran 1 cup
  3. Sesame seeds 1/2 cup
  4. Cashews raw chopped 1/2 cup
  5. Non-fat dry powdered milk 1/2 cup
  6. Vegetable oil 1/4 cup
  7. Vanilla 2 tsp
  8. Wheat flakes 1 cup
  9. Sunflower seeds 1/2 cup
  10. Pecans 1/2 cup
  11. Coconut, unsweetened 1 cup
  12. Honey 1/2 Cup
  13. Water 1/2 cup
  14. Dates, chopped 1 cup
Instructions
  1. Mix together all dry ingredients except dates. Combine honey, oil, water, and vanilla. Add mixture gradually to dry ingredients, stirring to coat grains and nuts evenly.
  2. Preheat oven to 250°. Bake in lightly greased baking pan for 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes until granola is dry, lightly browned and crisp.
  3. Remove from oven, add dates.
  4. Cool and store in an airtight container.
