Green tea
Green tea has received a lot of attention in the last few years.
During the processing period, green tea undergoes minimal
oxidation, making it one of the healthiest teas available on the
market today. Green tea has a light, refreshing flavor and is
lime yellow in color. Green tea is rich in catechin polyphenols,
particularly epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), a powerful
antioxidant known to slow down the aging process. The
chemical has been shown to not only prevent the growth of
cancer cells, but also kill cancer cells without harming healthy
tissue. EGCG is also effective in lowering bad cholesterol.
Green tea contains vitamins A, D, E, C, B, B5, H, and K, as
well as amino acids, protein, caffeine, folic acid, and fluoride
