Cherry Crunch Bars

Ingredients
  1. 3/4 CUP BUTTER
  2. 1 CUP BROWN SUGAR
  3. 1 3/4 CUP FLOUR
  4. 1 TSP SALT
  5. 1/2 TSP BAKING SODA
  6. 1 1/2 CUPS ROLLED OATS
  7. 1/2 CUP PECANS CHOPPED (OPTIONAL)
  8. 1 21 OZ CAN CHERRY PIE FILLING
Instructions
  1. MIX THE BUTTER AND BROWN SUGAR TOGETHER. ADD THE FLOUR, SALT, BAKING SODA AND ROLLED OATS. MIX UNTIL CRUMBLY.
  2. PRESS HALF OF THE MIXTURE INTO 9" X 13" INCH PAN. ADD THE CAN OF CHERRY PIE FILLING. AND SPREAD IT OVER THE CRUMBS. ADD PECANS TO REMAINING CRUMBS. SPRINKLE WITH THE REMAINING CRUMB MIXTURE.
  3. BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 350º FOR 25 MINUTES. COOL AND CUT INTO BARS.
