1. Use less oil and/or use olive oil when sauteing vegetables.
2. Drain meat well, you can even rinse the meat under a little water.
This will also rinse away some flavor and nutritional value
3. Make sure you rinse the canned beans well, this will wash alot of
the salt and preservatives off the beans.
4. Watch out for the cheeses, sour cream and crackers. Use low fat or
fat free or just say “I’ll pass”
