Cheese Sauce
This sauce can be used on steamed broccoli, macaroni & cheese or any dish you like cheese on!
  1. Butter 1-1/2 Tbsp
  2. Flour, A.P. 1-1/2 Tbsp
  3. Salt 1/2 tsp
  4. Pepper black 1/8 tsp
  5. Dry mustard 1/4 tsp
  6. Worcestershire sauce (optional) 1 tsp
  7. Milk 2 cups
  8. Cheese, extra sharp, shredded, cheddar 8 oz
  1. Over medium heat, melt butter in a 2 qt sauce pan. Add flour, salt, pepper and dry mustard to melted butter, stirring well, cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add milk and Worcestershire to the flour-butter mixture slowly, stirring constantly with a wire whip. Cook until thick.
