Broiled tomato slices
So simple, but so delightful!
  1. 6 medium tomatoes, sliced crosswise 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick
  2. Olive oil
  3. Salt
  4. Pepper
  5. Sugar
  1. Turn oven to low broil. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil; generously rub with oil. Arrange tomato slices in a single layer on prepared baking sheets. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar. Broil on lowest shelf in oven for 508 minutes or until the tomatoes are a medium brown color and most of the liquid around the tomatoes has caramelized,.
