Beef Lo Mein
Serves 6
I like using beef for stir-fry, when making this dish.
  1. Spaghetti Noodles, thin, dry 8 oz
  2. Beef for Stir-fry, cut in strip 8 oz
  3. Kikkoman's soy sauce 1 Tbsp
  4. Italian dressing 1 Tbsp
  5. Lemon pepper 1/4 tsp
  6. Granulated garlic 1/4 tsp
  7. Vegetable oil 1 Tbsp
  8. Kikkoman’s soy sauce 2 Tbsp
  9. Hoisin Sauce 1 tsp
  10. Plum sauce 1 tsp
  11. Green onions, cut 3/4 to 1 inch lengths 1/2 cup
  12. Carrots, julienne, 1/4 inch x 2 inch 1 cup
  13. Celery, julienne, 1/4 inch x 2 inch 1 cup
  14. Broccoli, fresh, small florets 2 cups
  15. Sesame oil 1 Tbsp
  16. Vegetable oil 1 Tbsp
  17. Granulated or minced garlic 1 tsp
  18. Ground ginger 1/2 tsp
  1. Cook noodles, full length, drain cool, set aside.
  2. Marinate beef with soy sauce, Italian dressing, lemon pepper and garlic.
  3. Saute beef in a hot skillet with vegetable oil, only until browned. remove from pan.
  4. Combine Hoisin, plum and soy sauce together mix well, set aside.
  5. In a hot skillet or wok, add oils, swirl in pan. Add vegetables, saute until al dente (still slightly firm). Add garlic and ginger mix well. Add the noodles & beef; toss with vegetables. Add combined sauce from above; toss until well coated and hot. Do not over cook.
  1. **** Variation: If you do not have the hoisin and/or plum sauce, omit and increase the soy sauce garlic and ginger sightly .
