Hershberger’s is a seasonal bakery that is located across the street from their Amish family farm. They offer a wide variety of traditional Amish baked goods, such as fresh baked breads and fried fruit pies.

They offer many styles of donuts, long johns and sweet rolls. They also have both pound cakes and iced cakes.

One of their big attractions is their petting barn with many of the animals they raise in Ohio Amish country. They prize animal is the giant horse called “Big Ben,” yes he was big 19 hands, 3 inches and 3009 lbs. They also have a great fruit and flower stand with great prices. While there you can eat lunch at their cooking trailer. We enjoyed a cheeseburger, hot dog and fries.

This is a must stop if you visit Ohio Amish country.
