Crispie Creme Donut’s is a landmark in Chillicothe, Ohio, a popular place that has been around since 1929. They are a donut and coffee shop that has been doing it right for a long time.

They have a wide variety of cream filled, jelly filled, glazed, chocolate glazed cake donuts, etc. I did find a few donuts that were original to them. They offer “mountain tops” (a choc frosted donut with creamy icing on top), a variety of Bismarks, and one called a fudgies.

To say much more is to repeat, they are a donut shop that knows donuts and does them well. Still made the old-fashioned way, which causes them to stand out in today’s market. If you are in the area, you need to stop and try them out. If you are not in the area, make a special trip.
