City Bakery Cafe

They specialize in producing a wide variety artisan breads and rolls formed by hand and baked in a hearth oven. They also make some of the most mouth watering cakes, pies, croissants, cupcakes, cookies and much more.

They have a cafe that offers many styles of coffees. They are open for both breakfast and lunch. All plates feature their fine quality bakery products.

We stopped at the Biltmore store downtown on a Saturday morning. The place was hopping, both with seated customers and customers getting take-out. The aroma alone was worth walking in for. We tried a warm ham and swiss crossant and a potato rosemary roll.

Both were good, but the potato rosemary roll was to die for, yes, that good. We were on a 3 day fall vacation/ bakery hopping weekend and had to swing back by for one more taste of that roll. We showed up Monday for the potato rosemary roll and guess what, they are only made on Saturdays. Had a pepper cheddar instead, great roll. But I want another POTATO ROSEMARY ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
