Mountains on one side and the “Rocky Broad River” on the other side. They boost that they are the #1 destination in the NC Mountains. They have about 15-18 shops that are always a joy to walk through. Looking for a motels, they have about choose from. The main attraction for many is Chimney Rock Park” located in the center of the village. There is a fee to go to the park, but it’s worth the view, great walking trails, picnic area and a waterfalls. You won’t go way hungry either. They have about 8-10 choices of restaurants and eateries. We almost always stop and get Hershey’s ice cream from the “Hershey ice cream store.
