Serving Breakfast and lunch: Mon. – Fri. 6am-2pm, Sat breakfast only 6am -12 noon
I local diner cooking up local favorites for over 22 years. Breakfast dishes are many of the classic dishes the southern locals have enjoyed for years. For lunch you are going to find local favorites, such as fried and BBQ chicken, steak and gravy, BBQ, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, seasoned collard greens, Etc.
We stopped in mid June 2017 and enjoyed a fresh hot breakfast. Talked with the waitress for a few minutes and the the owner (Rola) came out and talk with us. We had a great talk, found out that here dad use to have a restaurant. Two of her sisters have local diners in the Goldsboro area. Dee’s Dinner ( We have them listed, great place to eat) and Rudy Grill in Rosewood area ( haven’t been there yet, but soon).
The sad part about this restaurant is the diner is it will be closing in the next few months. The NC DOT have informed them that they need the property to widen the intersection. So please stop by and check them out soon. I will remove the post when it closes. Rola said that she and her husband are planning on retiring and moving to Michigan to be near their daughter and the grand children.
