If you are looking for a place with a combination of modern diner for and authentic Amish style meals, Cindy’s is the place for you. In 2006, Cindy took over the diner and changed the name to Cindy’s Diner.
Cindy’s Amish roots, years of working in the restaurant business gave Cindy knowledge and skills to take on this adventure. Dishes such as country fried steak, roast beef and roast turkey are some of the popular Amish dishes she has. If you want a burger they have one for you, they are not little burgers so come hungry. The Thai burger ( ½ lb Angus burger with bacon, grilled onions and mushrooms, cheddar cheese & Thai sauce, Served on a pretzel bun).
Other burgers such as the Berlin burger, Western burger, foot-long Coney’s and Turkey Clubs. They are also known for their BBQ pork dishes. Save room for dessert, they have a good selection. Homemade pies, cheesecakes, and a ice cream selection of sundaes, hand dipped ice cream and the classic banana splits.
Debbie had a bowl of soup (pumpkin black bean Chipotle), I tasted a little, man it was great. I had a big lunch, I had the Berlin Burger platter ( 2-1/2 lb cheeseburgers, bacon with lettuce and tomatoes, pickles and diner sauce. I had their TOPFROST root beer also, what a meal.
